
Thomas Stevenson is an conceptual artist living in Brooklyn. His work takes the form of sculpture, video, performance, installations and paintings. Thomas’ primary focus sits within the critique of power structures and the individuals who unwittingly acquiesce to them.
His projects have been deployed in urban streets and rooftops, in the Mojave desert, and at the New Museum’s Ideas City Festival and Art Basel Miami. His projects have been written about in the New York Times, the Village Voice, USA Today, and the New York Observer.
Thomas holds an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and a BA in Philosophy from Boston University. He’s completed the Art & Law program in New York City and has done the summer ITP program at NYU for the past 2 years.
