Woven Waters reflects the pond theme that has been consistent in my body of work. I am inspired by the water and foliage surrounding my pond and in this particular body of work, I added abstract work to create a more subtle voice. Woven Waters shows the process I use, in which I see as weaving. I continually turn the paintings 45 degrees so that the washes and drips build upon one another and create the weave effect with the use of water.
