Beatricia Sagar
This body of work called "Scenes" explores Narrative through the imagery of interiors. I mix paint, collage, plus photographs and other mixed media techniques. My love for film is seen in photographs which are placed in positions to create mystery and intrigue. To satisfy me and provide more challenge, the paintings must sit on an abstract reality to avoid formal description. Within the architecture of each painting, waiting in the wings are endless artistic inventions with color, shape patterns combined to form a masculine feminine unity.
